Zinke and Trump Doing Monday Night Montana “Tele-Rally”

President Donald Trump is hosting a Montana “tele-rally” alongside his former US Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke on Monday night.

Zinke is a former congressman and Navy SEAL who is running for the newly created Western district now that Montana gained a second seat in the US House of Representatives. He’s already been endorsed by Gov. Greg Gianforte (R-MT), Senator Steve Daines (R-MT) and President Trump, despite facing a competitive primary in June.

The “tele-rally” takes place Monday night at 6 p.m. Mountain time. Click here for details.

Zinke was one of the first big names to come out in support of then-candidate Trump in the 2016 election. Here is Zinke, his wife Lola, and his campaign manager Heather Swift during their first surprise appearance at Trump Tower following the 2016 election.

Shortly after that meeting, Zinke was tapped by Trump to serve as the first-ever cabinet member from Montana. That’s where he led the Department of Interior and worked with Trump to not only lower America’s dependence on foreign oil, but made America energy dominant.

Speaking of energy…I think this tweet sums up the difference between the Trump Administration and the Biden Administration

Could it be any more clear of a difference? Cancelling leases and higher prices under Biden. Opening leases and lower prices under Trump. And don’t even get me started on the baby formula for illegals while American moms are seeing empty shelves…

Endorsement Alert! NRA Endorses Ryan Zinke for Congress and Awards A+ Rating!

Yesterday, the National Rifle Association endorsed Ryan Zinke for Congress. Ryan Zinke has a lifelong record defending the Second Amendment rights of all Americans as Congressman for Montana’s at-large district and as US Secretary of the Interior under President Trump. On his first day as Secretary of the Interior, Ryan Zinke overturned the Obama-era ban on lead ammunition and fishing tackle used on US Fish and Wildlife Service lands. He expanded hunting access to 30 of America’s National Wildlife Refuges, eliminated the policy that barred BLM lands from being managed as shooting ranges, and established the Hunting and Shooting Sports Conservation Council to expand access, education, and awareness programs for sportsmen.

Watch: America isn’t weak, our administration is

Check out this message from Ryan Zinke! Although our leadership in Washington is weak, the American spirit is as strong as ever. Every problem America faces is fixable if we get the right leadership in Washington. Ryan Zinke has fixed it before and he will fix it again.

Ryan on the Road

Hungry Horse News: Zinke says humanitarian aid should be air dropped to Ukraine

Hungry Horse News

Republican Congressional candidate Ryan Zinke stumped at the Blue Moon Nite Club on Friday.

Montana’s First Congressional District was added after the state gained a seat as its population grew to over 1 million in the 2020 census.

Zinke was formerly a Montana Congressman from 2015-2017 before becoming Secretary of Interior under the Trump Administration.

“The campaign is going great,” he said. “America is fixable.”

In a brief interview while shaking hands with folks, he said the U.S. needs to get back to energy independence and could shut down the southern border in three months to stop illegal immigration if need be.

He said he would support building the southern border wall on the Mexican border and would support empowering the Border Patrol to do its job.

On the war in Ukraine he said the U.S. should support them with advanced drone weaponry and he supported air dropping humanitarian aid to cities.

“This is the face of evil,” he said of Russian President Vladmir Putin.

“I stand for freedom,” Zinke, a former Navy SEAL added.

He also spoke to a question on recreational marijuana, which has been an issue in Columbia Falls. Because of federal law, recreational marijuana businesses, which are now legal in Flathead County, cannot have bank accounts, because marijuana is still illegal on the federal level. So if a bank does business with a marijuana dealer, they could be charged with aiding and abetting a federal crime or money laundering.

As such, pot businesses pay taxes, like the Columbia Falls 3% city resort tax, in cash.

Zinke said he “respected the voice of Montanans” on the legalization of marijuana.

But he also noted that “big pot and big money doesn’t belong in Big Sky.”

On the other hand, he said he didn’t know what the answer was from the banking aspect.

Montana Sen. Jon Tester during an interview earlier this year that the marijuana quandary has been holding up federal banking legislation as of late.

Last year, Montana Sen. Steve Daines, a Republican, signaled support for the SAFE Act, which would allow marijuana businesses to bank legally.

The legislation passed the House, but stalled in the Senate.

Watch: Ryan Zinke Joins Brian Kilmeade on Fox & Friends

This week, Ryan joined Brian Kilmeade on Fox & Friends to talk about Vladimir Putin’s illegal invasion of Ukraine. In his time as a US Navy SEAL and as a Commander in SEAL Team Six, Ryan knows that the only way to negotiate with the Russians is through strength, and right now strong leadership is lacking in DC. Ronald Reagan believed in “Peace through Strength” and the key to promoting strength abroad is independence and trust from our allies. As Secretary of the Interior, Ryan Zinke weaned the US off of foreign oil and made America energy independent for the first time in almost a century. Now, foreign leaders won’t even pick up the phone when Joe Biden calls. This is why it is so important that we send strong leaders like Ryan Zinke to Washington in 2022.

Ryan on the Road: Polson and Missoula

This week Ryan had the chance to meet with the good people of Lake County to discuss energy independence, Federal and Tribal relations, and bringing real leadership back to Washington.

Team Zinke would also like to give a big thank you to Vondene Kopetski and the Missoula County GOP for putting on a fantastic Lincoln – Reagan Day dinner in Missoula! A great event with a great crowd!

More Signs are Going Up!

Across the district, more and more Montanans are showing their support for Ryan Zinke! If you have a great spot for a sign email [email protected]!

The Ravalli Republic: Zinke will fight for the unborn

The Ravalli Republic

In an election as important as this one, with control of the House on the line, choosing the candidate for Western Montana who will most effectively fight for our values is the top priority. This is why I am supporting Ryan Zinke because of his record of fighting for life at both the state and federal level.

As Montana’s at-large congressman, Ryan Zinke voted repeatedly to defund Planned Parenthood and ban abortions after 20 weeks. As a state Senator, Ryan Zinke sponsored a bill that would criminalize an offense that results in the death of an unborn child and voted for a bill that would send a constitutional amendment to the electors of Montana, to specify that the Montana Constitution does not grant a right to an abortion or the public funding of an abortion.

Here’s the truth, Ryan Zinke is the only candidate who has fought to protect the unborn in the state legislature, in Congress, and in the Executive Branch and is the only choice to represent Montana’s values in Washington.

As a commander in the U.S. Navy (ret.) Ryan knows how to lead and what it takes for getting the job done.

As former Secretary of the Interior he did a lot for this state and will continue to do so.

The Missoulian

Ryan Zinke has the experience to make sure that Montana’s voice is heard in Congress.

How do we know that Ryan Zinke will deliver for Montana? Because he has the track record as Secretary of the Interior and as Montana’s at-large congressman to prove it.

Right now one of the most important issues facing Montanans is the record-high gas prices across the state. If we had continued on the path of energy dominance that Ryan Zinke put us on, America would not have to rely on foreign energy to keep the lights on.

As Secretary of the Interior, Ryan Zinke wrote the plan that made America energy independent, expanded access to public land for hunting and fishing, and returned management of our public lands from D.C. bureaucrats to the communities who live there. He also wrote the legislation to fully fund the Land and Water Conservation Fund and address the maintenance backlog in our National Parks.

Join me in supporting Ryan Zinke, a man who has spent his entire life fighting for this country and her values in Congress; who will continue to fight for Montana.

Bozeman Daily Chronicle: Guest Column: America needs to invest in park infrastructure

Post Photo

Bozeman Daily Chronicle

National Park Week began Saturday, April 16, a timely reminder to get outdoors and appreciate the beauty that God bestowed upon our country and in particular, Montana. Our national park system has been hailed as America’s “best idea” and it’s easy to see why when you ascend Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier, or experience the power of Old Faithful in Yellowstone.

Theodore Roosevelt’s vision of our national parks, as inscribed in stone on the gate of Yellowstone, was “For the benefit and enjoyment of the people.” Washington, D.C., must keep this front of mind.

Our parks are seeing record visitation year after year, and recent crowding has created challenges. To preserve our parks, the answer is not restricting access. Instead, D.C. should make investments in infrastructure and better management practices to include fire mitigation and integration of federal and state trail systems to expand public access.

Long lines, no parking, and crowded trails have become the norm. In extreme case, reservation systems have been instituted to “ration” resources. For locals, we can no longer decide to take the day off of work and hop in the car with the kids for a day in the park. Now, under the Biden Administration, you need to go online months ahead of time to try and reserve a rare vehicle reservation or have a tourism experience booked. Instead of shutting down public access under the guise of protecting resources, we must continue strategic investments in park infrastructure.

This ranges from upgrading sewer and water systems so the environment is protected and bathrooms are clean, to thinking out-of-the-box to invest in transportation systems that improve visitors’ experience, and rebuild, expand and fully integrate other public lands trails systems to provide greater access and recreational opportunity.

As Secretary of the Interior, the number one issue I heard from park superintendents was failing infrastructure. Our parks were literally falling apart. In response, I proposed the Public Lands Infrastructure Fund to dedicate 50% of revenues from energy production on federal lands and offshore to address the backlog. This later became the bipartisan “National Parks Restoration Act” and ultimately renamed as the “Great American Outdoors Act” which was signed into law in 2020. It is the largest investment in public lands in the history of our country and permanently funded the Land and Water Conservation Fund.

I have never been an advocate for selling or transferring public land. And never will be. I am however a strong advocate for better management. It takes resources, political courage and commitment to manage. As Montana’s congressman, I will seek a position on the House Appropriations Committee to ensure the Biden Administration and Congress actually make those investments, rather than redirect the money elsewhere.

There is a small group of radical environmentalists who disagree with expanding access and instead want to stop the public from enjoying their lands by closing roads, trails, and limiting access. Masquerading as conservationists, their real objective is to keep the public out.

Take the historic Sperry Chalet built by the Great Northern Railroad in 1906 in Glacier Park. When the iconic chalet was destroyed by a late season fire, radicals demanded a “return to nature” policy and urged the NPS not to rebuild. Working with the Glacier Conservancy I was able to break through the resistance and quickly stabilize Sperry to survive the winter and be rebuilt the following summer so future generations could have the same experience I did. Had the forest been better managed by using best practices such as controlled burns and early suppression, it is likely that Sperry would have not burned down in the first place.

Going forward, policymakers in D.C. must protect our parks as well as our public access in order to ensure the experience that future generations deserve. But that can only happen with proper management rather than neglect or radical policies that rely on limiting public access. As your congressman, I have and always will subscribe to Roosevelt’s American Conservation Ethic. Anything less is just wishful thinking and puts at risk Montana’s special wild places, watersheds, and our way of life.

Watch: Ryan Zinke Describes What He is Most Proud of From His Time As Secretary of the Interior.

From protecting sportsmen’s rights to hunt and fish on public land to making America energy independent, the most important achievement for Ryan Zinke has always been representing the values and ideals of Montana.

Biden Goes for Broke on Gun Control

Just when it seemed Joe Biden couldn’t move any further to the left, he doubles down and goes for broke. Earlier this week, Joe Biden announced his intention to impose more sweeping regulations on law-abiding gun owners such as banning “assault weapons” and high capacity magazines. This is why it is so important that we send committed conservatives like Ryan Zinke to Congress and take back the House.

Ryan Zinke has spent his entire career defending the Second Amendment and our rights as Americans. On his first day as Secretary of the Interior, he overturned the Obama-era ban on lead ammunition on US Fish & Wildlife land and fought to expand access for hunters and fishermen on public land. The Montana way of life would not be possible without the constitutional freedoms such as the Second Amendment that allows Montanans to be self-reliant and prosperous.

Endorsement Alert!

More and more patriotic Americans are endorsing Ryan Zinke as Montana’s new Congressman every day. This week, Senator Marsha Blackburn endorsed Ryan Zinke stating “Ryan Zinke is a proven fighter for America and American family values, and we need him in the House to fire Pelosi and slam the brakes on Biden’s radical build back broke agenda. I’m proud to endorse him for Congress.”

Ryan on the Road!

Yesterday, Team Zinke was on the road and bound for Bozeman to support the Montana Firefighter Fund! With fire season around the corner, supporting Montana’s wildland firefighters is priority number one!

Press Release: Montana Auto Dealers Endorse Ryan Zinke for Congress

Post Photo

Contact: [email protected]

WHITEFISH, MT – Today the Montana Auto Dealers Association endorsed Ryan Zinke, former U.S. Secretary of the Interior, Montana At-Large Congressman, and U.S. Navy SEAL, for Montana’s new first Congressional District.

“If you want to see how the supply chain crisis is negatively impacting Montana, look at a car dealership. I’ve spoken to many who have been waiting months for inventory which means their people can’t get paid and Montanans can’t get the vehicles they need,” said Ryan Zinke. “There’s a lot that can be done in Washington to support Montana’s auto dealers. The first step is fixing our broken supply chain with a series of regulatory holidays, increasing domestic manufacturing of important component parts like microchips, and increasing domestic production of critical minerals and energy. As the grandson to pioneers in Montana’s auto dealership trade, I’m proud and honored to have their support.”

“The Montana auto dealers association is excited to support Mr. Zinke in his run for Congress. Ryan has always been a friend of the Montana auto dealers since growing up in and around his grandfather’s car dealership.” Said James Johnson, Chairman for the Montana Auto Dealers Association “He cares about Montana businesses and their employees. Ryan Zinke is a true Montana Warrior who will go to Washington and fight for the best interests of all Montanans.”

MTADA is the Montana chapter of the National Auto Dealers Association and represents 99 franchised car and truck dealers across the state of Montana.
