BILLINGS, Mont. – Former Montana State Senator Ryan Zinke, candidate for the at-large seat for the U.S. House of Representatives, today urged Montanans to support the Alzheimer’s Association and their efforts to end Alzheimer’s.
“President Reagan recognized that November is National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month, and let’s also not forget that this November is also National Caregiver Month,” said Zinke. “As many of you know, my family, like millions of other families, has been impacted by this debilitating disease.
“In the United States, there are millions suffering from Alzheimer’s and other forms dementia. Let’s continue to increase awareness about the disease, its impact on the lives of those affected by it, and the efforts of those seeking to cure Alzheimer’s disease.
“Let’s also acknowledge the countless caregivers who assist and take care of those suffering from these diseases. We thank them for their support of our friends, family, and loved ones.”
